Santa Aero Defence & Autonomous Systems Pvt. Ltd. was incorporated in 2026 in Odisha. We design, write, manufacture and assemble our own autonomous aerial systems — nothing licensed, nothing imported.
It started with one stubborn idea.
India trains its air defences against targets it largely has to import. We thought that was the wrong way round. A country that builds its own missiles should build the things those missiles practice against.
So we started with the hardest version of that problem — a long-range, recoverable, swarm-capable target drone that flies like a real threat. That became MAVIS, and it is the foundation everything else we do is built on.
We are deliberately small. We would rather get one system genuinely right than ship a catalogue of half-finished ones.
